Unfortunately we are closed during alert levels 4 & 3 and can only reopen in Level 2. As soon as we know when that will be, we will be in touch with those clients who's appointments have been effected and reschedule you first. For this reason our online booking is currently turned OFF and will reopen once we have rescheduled our guests who have missed their appointments. We have done this before and we can do it again. COVID 19 - DELTA TWO....WHEN WE GET BACK TO WORK

Our focus will be on delivering beautiful hair in a safe environment. This reflects not only official guidelines, but our commitment to keep you and our team happy and healthy. 

Things will be a little different to your last appointment, and we want to shed some light on what you can expect.

HOW WE’LL KEEP YOU SAFE:

We'll maintain accurate contact tracing of all our clients and visitors to the salon. We have a NZ COVID tracer QR code at our entry door down stairs, at the top of the stairs, at reception and at each station and it is a legal requirement that everyone aged 12 years or older who enters the salon scans the QR code or fills out the forms provided with their name and phone number alongside the date and time they were present.

Hairdressing is inevitably a hands-on thing, so all our team will be wearing masks. We kindly ask all clients to wear a mask also (but of course please contact us if you have a mask exemption). We'll also wash and sanitise our hands at the beginning of each appointment and will ask our clients to the same.

Social Distancing is a requirement in the new normal for the Salon Industry... but is as much as is practical. As you can imagine it would be impossible to cut and colour your hair from 1-2 meters, however we will be limiting the number of clients we have in the salon at any one time.

Clients will now only occupy every second stylist station and every second basin. This may mean that we need to reschedule your appointment to a quieter time during the week. If so, we will contact you directly via phone.

Reception We will set up an appropriate distance for waiting clients, however we ask that you help us by not bringing anyone extra with you while you get your hair done and that you are patient as we juggle people around. If the reception area is busy, please wait outside until one of our team lets you know that its ok for you to come in.

The Eftpos machine is sanitized after every use and all reception surfaces will be disinfected after every client. Contactless payment can be done by way of direct debit online banking before or after your appointment. (Please refrain from bringing cash)

Hand Soap - we have 3 sinks, each with anti-bacterial hand soap and paper towels.

Hand Sanitizer is available on every station - please feel free to use this while visiting us as often as you like throughout your service.

Clean towels and capes - every client is caped up with a clean towel and cape that has been thoroughly laundered

Antibacterial surface cleaner - all areas are cleaned to ensure the ultimate cleanliness

Daily Salon cleaning - the floors and surfaces are professionally cleaned every night

Beverages We won’t be able to offer beverages at this time, however we’ll be happy to fill your reusable water bottle. Likewise, we won’t be able to provide magazines, but will have WIFI access for your viewing pleasure.

We’ll refrain from talking at the basin.

Our team members will not come in to the salon if they are even the slightest bit unwell.

 

HOW YOU CAN HELP KEEP OUR TEAM SAFE: 

Please do not visit if you are feeling unwell or have a cold, cough or sniffles. We’ll happily work with you to reschedule your appointment.

We love children and your four-legged friends - however we ask that you refrain from bringing them to your appointment at this time.

Please arrive at the salon at the time of your appointment only, each stylist will have a one in, one out policy - so we won’t be able to let anyone in early. We can text you when your stylist is ready, so you can always wait in your car.

We ask that you leave jackets and bags at home, as we cannot hang or store them at this time.

We are going to be busy for the first few weeks while we catch up so please where possible be on time so we can try and run to schedule.

 

OUR SALON CLEANING REGIME:

Between every appointment we will carry out a stringent cleaning regime, including the sanitization of door handles, Eftpos machine, styling bays and basin areas. 

The salon will have a full sanitization and in depth clean before, during and after closing every day.
